This week has been a bit busy. I’ve been unwell during the weekend so had to cancel my shopping plans with Jane but I’m feeling so much better now! So we are going to Castle Hill Towers (which we both never been to).

Been working on portfolio and Open-opp project during the weekend. Finally getting close to completing some things.  During the week, I have been writing up cover letters for job applications. It is a bit difficult ’selling myself’ on paper considering I don’t have that much experience but I reckon I have enough knowledge and skills through my studies to help me accomplish the goal in hand. So far I have applied for 7 jobs since Tuesday and got 1 response indicating that I’m shortlisted!

Mum and me spent the whole of yesterday shopping! Super exhausting but this particular outing made us just a littler closer. She had indicated that I should get myself a boyfriend. Out of the guys she knows about, she thinks Ken will make an ideal boyfriend. I think I’ll wait another year until I tell her. I’m worried how my dad will take it. Last time, it was a disaster. I didn’t buy much but I got everything I needed. I realised I can only buy jeans at DFO Homebush. Most of the other clothes, especially corporate wear are quite a large size. 14+!

I wanted these shoes a couple years back but they were always too expensive. I was about to get them for $89.95 at Taylors but I’m lucky I waited until DFO Homebush.

It’s been a long time since I’ve bought shoes or wanted shoes. There was one year where I went crazy at DFO and Myers and got myself 10 pairs of shoes! Now they been worn to death and I catch myself wear only my Diana Ferrari sandals, Naturalizer black heels or Cotton On thongs. But now I found new shoe love …

For XMAS 2009, I got everything I wanted. Pretty by Elizabeth Arden, Sex and The City: The Movie DVD, a slim personal 2010 diary, 6 Pandora Beads and chocolates. xoxo Mummy, Ken, Jane, Greg and Nhung.

At the moment, I’m trying really hard to finish the booking appointment e-mail form for one of my Open-opp’s clients. After this, I can finalise a few sample websites before working on my portfolio. It has been a long time since I was fully active in website designing and I never realised how particular I was when it comes to colour scheme. It used to be coding would take me longer but now it is the other way around.

Looking at my TODO, I realised I haven’t gotten around to sorting out my clothes. I can probably throw out my whole wardrobe as I’ve been wearing the same clothes over and over for the past year. My little pile in my room and on the ironing board is basically what I live off on. Come to think about it, it is a lot of clothes to throw out. Hopefully I can get to it by next week.

I’ve spent the past couple days drafting and revising my resume (thanks to Totran and Ken) so I can start submitting on Monday. But before that, I need to finish my sample websites and work on my portfolio in case I get a request from any of the design jobs I plan on applying for.

December 2nd 2009: Jess’s 24th at Maurizio’s Restaurant. Bought her chocolates and a lollipop (which Geoff broke) and Oreo mini cupcakes.

December 3rd 2009: Watched Wicked with Greg. We bought Capitol Class Package where we received a Wicked! program ($20), drink (+ cup $10), a VIP lanyard (+ access pass) and ice-cream. We also sat in awesome seats, right in the middle! I really enjoyed the story as well!

December 5th 2009: Dinner at Valley Thai and dessert at San Churro with Ken.

December 9th 2009: Teresa’s 24th Dinner at Valley Thai. I made her a chocolate cake, earrings and gave her some more chocolates.

December 11th 2009: Dinner at Candeloris with Jane to catch up. Expensive food but it was so good!

December 15th 2009: Shopping with Buie for XMAS gifts. Feet hurt. Needed to refuel after 4 hours of non-stop walking and standing. A couple more gifts to go.

Also been working (slaving) for parents lately and slowly setting up my computer and restoring (and organising) my files. *yawn I’m so tired. I wish I was in U.S.A right now .. but too poor.

This by far was the worse semester for exams. Totally in a ‘CBF’ mood.

This semester … was very tiring. Lack of sleep for the past few months. So now, I’m off to catch up on as much sleep as I can.

Finally went shopping! Score a pair of Zensu heels from $149.95 to $30! Last pair in my size too! Also got a pair of skinnys for $20 at JayJays and 2 pair of colorful thongs from Cotton On. Dinner, had what I’ve been craving for .. hieu tieu xao kho Also I’ve been developing a habit of buying coffe and cake of the day lately.

Live music && long ferris wheel line = Conception Day .. I really appericate my BBF Jane for paying for a Guest ticket ($65) even though, we knew it might not be her thing.

We had lunch at MQ centre (Cannoli + Blue Lagoon tea) and dinner (Meat Pizza – mainly so I could takeway the rest for Ken + $6.00 iced coffee) at Olympic Park directly across from her workplace.

Things didn’t go as planned. Woke up to drive dad to his friend’s place, then drove to the factory to drop off delivery and mum and I had lunch at Canley Vale. There is this place that makes banh canh xao kho (dry stir-fry thick clear noodles) …. YUMMMM! Then the boss called, so drove back to the factory then came home. The dad called, so drove all the way back into Cabramatta to pick him up. Spent soo much time doing this, I didn’t even end up doing ANY SHOPPING!!!
