Damnit! It’s almost week 4 and the only work I have done is PPS documents. *sigh
Sunday 16th August 2009
Spent the day cleaning and baking. Baked mocha mud cupcakes with (what suppose to be) white chocolate icing for Winston’s birthday. I had heaps of chocolate bits left over from making cookies a couple months back and I had a small amount of mocha left from my noon-coffee so I thought I might as well. I usually temper chocolate using the double boiling method but that takes too long, so this time I just added hot water and some milk and instant melted chocolate!
Phil picked me up and headed toward the Hume Highway Rashays. To me, there wasn’t much of a difference between the two Rashays, it is just more of a bitch to get the to Hume Highway one. I love the size of the drinks here! I usually order two drinks, but at Rashay’s, I only need one!
Iced chocolate heaven

Headed up to Buie’s, suppose to install programs onto her iMac but she was running late to Tafe, so ended up uploading all the programs (for a later time) and drove her to Tafe. Her Tafe is right next to UNSW Cumberland campus and it really sux to be a student there. A massive long line of street parking for students equals a very very long walk. Headed up to Parramatta to see if my test results came in since it has been two weeks and only one set came thought and so far a clean bill of health. Happy at the thought, but doesn’t explain what my body going through at the moment. Headed to the ken’s, armed with gorceries only to find pre-cooked food in the fridge from his mum. So the plan was, no cooking for the rest of the week!

Early morning stuck in traffic on the way to uni with less than 40KM of petrol left. Finally got near uni to fill up ($70 for 620km) then found some parking before catching a bus to the city. I caught the longer bus which takes the North Sydney route and I thought I was lost!! But now I know where Waqu is! Meeting took a while but was rather productive and the finish line is within view as opposed to a couple months ago where I was dreading if we ever finish on time.
Because my meeting look ages to finish, Phil was force to take his lunch break so I only ended catching him on his coffee break. I was starving and the chicken and mushroom pie across from Phil’s workplace (Shelly Street, King’s Wharf) was soooo yummmy! Frustrating point of the day was the whole prepay bus situation. I finally remember buses are pre pay from 7am-7pm. So I’m on Clarence Street, where the uni buses stop at, and I run to the nearest ticket store – “Sorry single student concessions are sold out .. do you want a adult ticket instead for $5?” So I run downstairs, having no idea what is downstairs and eventually find myself at Wynyard Station and the news stand there have run out too. I had to walk all the way around and finally found a news stand that had a couple student tickets left. Such a pain and I missed two buses! Does anyone know where the ticket stand is at Wynyard? The QVB one is right next to all the bus stops and I don’t see why we have to buy a ticket, rather can’t they just print us a ticket like they do at Parramatta in the mornings.

Bought some Mongolian lamb from Pho 76 to Ken’s and tested out his new magic cooker. Ended up putting too much water in and the rice came out soggy, in between sticky rice and congee texture. We went for our walk in the evening, just once around the block. We are going to try and get back to the routine of our daily walks like we once attempted during summer. But it is nice, just to take a walk with the boyfriend, enjoying each others company

Woke up early but Ken didn’t end up going to his tutorial. The coffee cart where I get my coffee on Thursday mornings, usually fuck up my coffee. Once I asked for hot chocolate and another time I asked for a latte and both time they tasted like very diluted coffee. Today, I ordered my usual coffee – large hazelnut cappuccino and I got a very bitter cappuccino. It might start paying just to walk across the uni to the more popular coffee cart for better coffee. After class, I attempted to make fried rice from yesterdays rice and cook the mushrooms, bean sprouts and chinese greens with whatever meat that was left over in the fridge. It was an overload of vegetables mashed up in sticky rice. Well, it has taste at least and was edible. Next time, less water.

Another early morning to get my Euro serviced at 8am. Free drinks at Peter Warren’s coffee shop if your getting your car service which was awesome. but soon the glasshouse got a little too warm for me, so headed back to Honda’s lounge to do some studying. So tired but didn’t want to go home and sleep. The Euro is still in top shape, minus so scratches and dent, they just had to do standard servicing and replace my right-side speaker. The rattling noise, is apparently occurring in the Accord Euro 09 models due to something about combustion and in a couple weeks, they will get back to me about it.
Afterwards, headed home to pick up mum and Stocklands for some shopping. As I wait for my mum, I was standing outside and noticed my car was clean! They washed my car! Awesome since i was planning on washing it on Sunday. Anyways, didn’t end up buying much, just new headphones and personal needs. Exhausted and sore, I napped for a bit then woke up to attempt to work. Not much of an attempt tho.

Suppose to be doing some work but still haven’t gotten around to it. Woke up to some dramas and cramps. Did some cleaning and made some chicken meatball pasta .. mmmm. Weather has been weird lately, either it is freezing or unusually warm. Just calculated this month spending .. and fuck I don’t even know where the money coming from for all this spending because I haven’t touched my savings (only for servicing) yet. Just have$1000 so far for this month. Bad bad bad bad. Only have $50 for the rest of the week, let see if I can manage.

15ML Curious by Birtney Spears .. this tiny bottle is for my handbag and hopefully it lasts longer than the 100 ML one

Mocha Mud Cupcakes covered in white chocolate icing for Winston’s 24th birthday.

Tim Tam Crush: Cookie and Cream .. omg I’m in heaven. I have such an addiction to cookies and cream. Found them at Woolworths (but none at Franklins)

New current favourite tea. Tried some at Swissotel High Tea Buffet and really liked it! I usually like fruity or floral teas and I always assumed this was like black tea. MMMM
