January13
Busy busy week. Been feeling so tired lately that I need to nap but I’ve been napping at the wrong time resulting me staying up until 3am!
Saturday 9th January: Jane and me went to Castle Towers! My 1st time there and definitely be back .. I can shop for hours and its free parking! wOoOoO! Yum cha at Hilltop Phoenix was really good! Better than Cabramatta especially the service! I only ended up buying bits and pieces, which is where most of my money goes. I should of bought the Review handbag I saw at Myers but I was worried it was too expensive.
Sunday 10th January: Spent the night with Ken. I love how we can just lie down side by side in each others arms and just talk about anything.
Monday 11th January: Went to MQ university to hand in our ‘expect to graduate’ forms, get an unofficial academic transcript and pay for 6 months parking. The business advisor didn’t reply to my e-mail so I thought I might as well go up and see him but there was such a line, I decided not to. We went to Burwood, hoping to go to Sushi Train to use my gift card Jane gave me a year ago but they got replaced by another owner and changed the name. So we ended up at Georges Cafe and we only had one dish, but that ended up just enough for us to finish and be stuffed!
Tuesday 12th January: Interview with Minter Ellison at 4pm. I got to the city early to find the place, and it was really close to the train station. My feet started to really hurt, so I put in heel grips which ended up being a bad idea because it just made it tighter and by the time I took them out, it was too late. I had a cheap lunch at Wagamama because I couldn’t walk anymore. Got my bill right after I finished eating, and felt like I was getting kicked out, so I went to illy the cafe across the street from Minter Ellison. $5 for a ice peppermint tea, abit of a rip off but boy, it was so refreshing. It was so hot, sweating through my shirt.
The interview went for an hour, and got to know heaps more about the position. It sounds really interesting and I hope I get a second interview. I hope I didn’t screw up during my interview. 1st one I ever had.
Wednesday 13th January: Woke up early to cancel the home building insurance but after waiting for so long, they couldn’t verify my mother identity properly because they asked her complicated questions. Never had this problem before. Usually they just ask her the standard questions and then I do all the talking, but for some reason this insurance section of this bank is different. So we went to RTA to pay for all the regos for the cars then we went to the bank and waited for like 40 minutes because there was 1 person serving enquires and 6 people waiting. When we finally cancelled the policy, we went NRMA to pay for the Euro’s insurance and open a new policy. By the time we finished, we figure we wouldn’t have enough time to go shopping. It was such a long day of waiting. I did end up buying a very hot white/stone colour bag at Forever New. <3 <3
On a different note, there is always two sides of a story. I wish people would realised that the story they hear will always be bias. Not everyone is a bitch/asshole and should be treated like one or in most cases outcasted. There are reason why people do the things they do, it just annoys me that some are so narrow and closed minded, they refuse to see the other side. I was starting to think that we were getting old enough not to worry about having to be the ’sheep’ and we were able to be different and weird/interesting. But I guess not and we may never grow up.
