A big weekend celebrating my boyfriend’s 25th birthday – dining out all weekend, lots of gifts and ‘Aim for Fun’ at Homebush Archery Centre. It was awesome fun and I recommend it!

Ken celebrated my 25th birthday by meeting me at work with some red tulips mixed with red roses. We headed off the The Little Snail and the food was delicious. We has a 3 course dinner:
- for entrée:Escargot de Bourgogne (Dozen snails marinated in herb-infused court-bouillon, oven baked in garlic butter) and Paté Maison (Armagnac flavoured duck liver pate with marinated champignons, date chutney and port vinaigrette)
- for main: Kangaroo Fillet (Recommend rare – on garlic pommes purée with Dijon mustard and honey bordelaise sauce) and Seafood Plate (Of grilled salmon, garlic prawns, salt and pepper squid, chilli mussels, beer battered soft shell crab and mesclun salad)
- for dessert: Kahlua Infused Chocolate Mousse and Chef Churned Hazelnut and Praline Ice Cream
We spent the reminder of the night sitting on the harbor enjoying the lights of the city and the water.

I celebrated my 25th birthday with my high school friends at Sahara Turkish Restaurant Parramatta. Ken, Jane, Diana and I ordered the Sahara Platter and there was soooooo much food! Everything was delicious of course (being it is my favourite restaurant.) I got completely spoiled by friends and boyfriend with:
- a big massive vanilla cupcake (from The Cupcake Bakery) ‘cake’ from Jane
- a rose teacup/pot from Jane
- a Nintendo Wii from the girls
- a Sony Cybershot HX5V-HD from Greg
- Apple IPod Touch 8GB from Ken

My two favourite people are leaving me all alone in at BNP. <3 Fabio and Jane.
Last day for my friends on the BNP Horizon09 project and I'm already missing them! Spent the morning buying cards and ordering two yummy cakes (thank goodness these expenses can be reimbursed!) and once the final hour fell upon us, we celebrated with drinks at Ambar.

The final BNP Trading team dinner at Azuma Kushiyaki which the night ending with Karaoke. Everyone will be leaving the Horizon09 project on Friday and it is going to be so lonely and quiet without them.
I enjoyed my food experience at Azuma Kushiyaki. Despite the price ($35 minimum per person), the food was quite good and presented beautifully. The restaurant was buzzing lively with customers and not an empty table to be found (lucky we had a booking). The boys were busy deciding which dishes to order while the girls were trying to decide which drinks we wanted to try.
We ended up with an assortment of sushi rolls, kushiyaki and otsumami with some cocktails and sake. The kushiyaki was difficult to share between 7 people but overall the famous Kushiyaki was alright. I think the potions I had were too small to really appreciated what the restaurant was famous for. Having said that, I will most likely go back just to try the Kushiyaki tasting course.

Spent a few days in Melbourne with my boyfriend for Valentine’s. It has been an exhausting experience – chasing after the free tram, walking around every tourist sights, having good food but terrible service. Unlike everyone else, I won’t be coming back to Sydney loving Melbourne.

We went to watch the great moscow circus then a yummy dinner at chintaria and a visit to star city on saturday.
I haven’t been to the circus so I was really excited. Although some of the acts were average it was still awesome to watch! The only downside was sitting in front of noisy asians who kept talking loudly in chinese and clapping so loudly next to my ear and hooting …. yes hooting.
We walked by darling harbour and watched the fireworks <3
We had dinner at chinta ria and ordered the king tho beef and roti lamb curry. It was so yummy and for once we felt satisfied
We headed into star city to explore and do a little gambling on the pokies because the tables looked so intimidating.
We ended the night on a bad now as we had to catch the night rider home and we missed it by 5 minutes so we had to wait anotherhour for the next one. It was so full of drunk , loud and smelly people. We had to stand for half the ride and the driver was speeding and breaking hard. By the time we got a seat it was under a full blast of ac
